titleOfInvention Production of diene polymer, and rubber composition
abstract PURPOSE: To produce a diene polymer remarkably improved in not only breaking strengths and abrasion resistance but also heat build-up, resilience, processability and wet skid resistance, and a rubber compsn. improved in breaking strengths, abrasion resistance, etc. n CONSTITUTION: A process for producing a diene polymer by polymerizing a conjugated diene monomer or a mixture thereof with an arom. vinyl monomer in a hydrocarbon solvent in the presence of a composite initiator contg. an alkaline earth metal and reacting active terminal groups of the resulting active diene polymer with a compd. (A) represented by M=C=M (wherein M is an oxygen or sulfur atom): another process for producing a diene polymer by reacting the active terminal groups of the active diene polymer with compd. A together with a compd. (B) selected from the group consisting of an N-substd. aminoketone, an N-substd. aminoaldehyde, an N-substd. thioaminoaldehyde, and a compd. having a group represented by -C(=M)-N<; and a rubber compsn. which contains at least one of the above two rubbers. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
