titleOfInvention Manufacture of real leather-like seat sheet
abstract PURPOSE:To manufacture a real leather-like seat sheet consisting of finely porous skin and non-rigid open-cell layer laid beneath the skin in the same mold by an integral foam molding method. CONSTITUTION:Under the condition that polyol is applied onto skin 3 (synthetic leather), which is produced by applying urethane skin stock liquid onto the mold surface having embossing pattern 2 of the lower mold of a foam mold and then drying it, in order to form liquid polyol film, urethane foaming stock liquid is poured in the foam mold for integral form molding a real leather-like seat sheet. Said polyol, film reacts on the isocyanate so as to produce non-rigid foamed layer 8, resulting in making good the insufficient strength of the thin and porous skin and, at the same time, giving soft feeling to the skin.
