titleOfInvention | Actuator using thermal operation |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain an actuator which has the small operation energy and the high operation speed by introducing the fluid having a low boiling point into a container which extends and contracts according to pressure and extending and contracting the container through heating. n CONSTITUTION: Silicone rubbers 1 and 2 are joined with the lower bottom of the bellows 3 of a thermal operating element Ba1, and silicone rubbers 4 and 5 are joined on the upper surface. A wave-shaped cylindrical body 8 is accommodated in the inner space 6 of the bellows 3, and a tantalum wire coil 7 is arranged in the inner space, and the working fluid (Flon 11) 35 having a low boiling point is introduced into the inside of the bellows 3. When the coil 7 electrically conducts and is heat-generated, the working fluid 35 flows into the wave-shaped cylindrical body 8 and is vaporized. Accordingly, the bellows 3 extends in the vertical direction. With this constitution, an actuator which has the small operation energy and high operation speed with the small temperature variation can be obtained. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
