titleOfInvention Preparation of composite molded product
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a composite molded product by relatively simple operation by foaming foamable particles in a mold by raising temp. to generate the volumetric expansion of the particle aggregate and effectively utilizing this volumetric expansion force at its max. to perform composite molding. CONSTITUTION:A thermosetting resin or a precursor thereof is fluidized through a separation layer while the separation layer is pressed to the inner surface of a mold by volumetric expansion to be allowed to be present between the separation layer and the mold and between foamable particles. Subsequently, the thermosetting resin or the precursor thereof is cured and perfectly solidified to form a surface layer and a core part and, thereafter, the obtained composite molded product is taken out of the mold. The concrete molded product has thin skins of an epoxy resin formed to both outer surfaces thereof and glass fiber fabrics are present directly under the skins in the form pressed to the inner foamed core and (a) is a foamed core layer formed by the solidification of a mixed slurry, (b) is separating layers also used as fiber reinforced layers composed of two glass fiber fabrics and (c) is cured resin layers constituting both surfaces.
