titleOfInvention Charge transport compound and organic photoconductive material containing the same
abstract PURPOSE: To provide a new compd. which is useful as a charge transport compd. in a photoconductive device or a charge control agent to be electrified into positive charges in a lithographic toner. n CONSTITUTION: This compd. in a neutral state is expressed by formula I. In formula I, Ar is expressed by formula II, formula III, formula IV (wherein R 1 , R 3 , R 4 are an alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, cycloalkyl, allyl; R 2 is an alkyl, aralkyl, cycloalkyl, allyl, aryl; X 1 to X 5 are H or groups which can fix positive charges to adjacent carbon atoms); L is a 1 to 4C alkyl or halo. For example, in the compd. expressed by formula I, Ar is 4-(N,N-diethylamino)phenyl and L is H. The compd. expressed by formula I, especially the example compd. is obtd. from an intermediate of 9-bromofluorene or 9-(diethylphosphityl)fluorene. The compd. of formula I is used by incorporating into an org. photoconductive material or an electrphotographic toner containing a charge control agent. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO
