titleOfInvention Production of procollagenase
abstract PURPOSE: To safely and efficiently obtain a procollagenase at a low cost by using a culture medium containing a sulfuric acid-hydrolyzate of silk fibers in culturing a fibroblast, etc., and obtaining the procollagenase. n CONSTITUTION: A cell such as a fibroblast is cultured in a culture medium containing sulfuric acid-hydrolyzate of silk fibers/having ≤500 molecular weight to provide a procollagenase. Sulfuric acid-hydrolyzates of silk fibers obtained by directly adding 40-60vol.% sulfuric acid to a degummed silk fiber and treating the silk fiber at 60°C for 1-48hr, etc., are used as the aforementioned sulfuric acid-hydrolyzate of the silk fibers. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
