abstract PURPOSE: To remove NO x with high denitration efficiency within a low temp. region over a wide use range by subjecting NO x in the gas flowing through a treatment container to the contact reaction with the zeolite.NaN 3 mixed pellet in the treatment container. n CONSTITUTION: NO x in the gas flowing through a treatment container 1 is subjected to the contact reaction with the zeolite.NaN 3 mixed pallet 7 in the container 1 to be removed. The pellet 7 can be obtained by adding water to a powder mixture of zeolite and NaN 3 to prepare a clayey mixture and drying the obtained mixture. By this denitration apparatus, high denitration efficiency can be realized by the removing action of NaN 3 mixed in the porous mixed molded body and a use temp. range becomes a wide low temp. region. Further, the convenience and safety of handling are enhanced and the apparatus can be also miniaturized.
