titleOfInvention Core for electromagnetic wave shield
abstract PURPOSE: To offer a core for an easily mountable and dismountable electromagnetic shield. n CONSTITUTION: A core 1 for an electromagnetic shield is such where an electromagnetic shield material, in which 25 volume % of carbon fibers are dispersed having elastomer (for instance, polyurethane rubber) as the parent, is formed in the shape of a cylindrical tube, and a slit 3 is formed along the axial direction on a cylindrical wall 2. Carbon fibers are generated in the furnace of 950 to 1300°C by a vapor phase method thermodecomposing benzene while being carbon fibers having a diameter 0.1 to 0.5μm and the length 0.1 to 1μm being grown having iron powder of a grain diameter 0.02 to 0.03μm as a growth starting part and uniformly dispersed in various kinds of synthetic rubber. Consequently, the core 1 for an electromagnetic wave shield uniformly lowers in volume resistance to be able to uniformly perform an electromagnetic shield while maintaining elasticity of synthetic rubber so as to be easily mounted on an electric wire or the like by opening the slit 3. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
