PURPOSE: To obtain the subject material withstanding the action of high temp. of a fire and not generating toxic vapor and excellent in electric insulating properties by mixing an elastomer, an iron oxide and a specific compd. n CONSTITUTION: The objective material is composed of a mixture consisting of an elastomer (e.g.; polydimethylsiloxane), an iron oxide (e.g.; ferric oxide) and aluminum silicate and/or silicon carbide. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO |
