abstract | PURPOSE: To enable the formation and resolution of a distereomer salt consisting of (S)-ibpurofen-(S)-lysine and (R)-ibpurofen-S)-lysine. n CONSTITUTION: The method for formation and division of the (S)-ibpurofen-(S)- lysine by (a) bringing (R)(S)-ibpurofen and (S)-lysine into contact with each other in an aq. org. solvent liquid mixture, (b) separating suspended solid from this liquid mixture, (c) cooling the clear liquid mixture until the liquid mixture is supersaturated with the (S, S) and (R, S) salts respectively, (d) bringing the supersaturated liquid mixture into contact with the slurry of the (S)-ibpurofen-S)- ibpurofen-(S)-lysine in the aq. org. solvent and (e) separating the formed crystal (S)-ibpurofen-(S)-lysine. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO |
