abstract |
PURPOSE:To obtain a catalyst having excellent performances to burn and remove not only carbon-base fine particles but also toxic components such as unburnt hydrocarbon and CO at low temp. by depositing a catalyst component consisting of titania and carrying at least one noble metal selected form Pd, Pt, and Rh on a refractory three-dimensional structural body. CONSTITUTION:A catalyst component consisting of titania and carrying at least one noble metal selected form Pd, Pt, and Rh is deposited on a refractory three-dimensional structural body. The obtd. catalyst has excellent performances to burn and remove not only carbon-base fine particles but also toxic components such as unburnt hydrocarbon and CO and low oxidization performance for sulfur dioxide to suppress production of sulfate. |
