titleOfInvention Method and device for measuring gas dissolved in liquid
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a simple measuring method and a small, lightweight, simple- structured measuring device for use in the measuring method, which can be installed where it is difficult to sample and measure insulating oil of electric equipment, in order to automatically sample the insulating oil and to measure acetylene gas in the insulating oil. n CONSTITUTION: Insulating oil is sampled from a transformer and electric equipment such as an OF cable and the like, both of which use insulating oil and a sampling pipe where pressure is reduced in progress by a vacuum pump 6 is filled therewith. The surface of the insulating oil sampled is brought into contact with the space inside a gas cell 3 in which pressure is reduced and which is connected to the sampling pipe, and acetylene gas in the insulating oil is diffused into the gas cell 3 from the surface of the oil. Gas is sealed in the gas cell 3 in addition to dissolved ones and thus predetermined pressure at which optoacoustic measurement is possible is achieved whereby acetylene gas in the gas cell 3 can be measured by an optoacoustic means. After the measurement is completed the insulating oil measured is transferred inside a conduit spacially connected to the gas cell 3 by the vacuum pump 6 and is temporarily stored in a waste liquid container 5. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
