titleOfInvention Container for blood examination
abstract PURPOSE: To accurately examine a substance liberated by the action of thrombin by suppressing the formation of thrombin by adding thrombin inhibitor to a container other than sodium citrate being an anticoagulant. n CONSTITUTION: Sodium citrate is allowed to be present in a container for the examination of blood as an anticoagulant to prevent the coagulation of a collected whole blood sample. A thrombin inhibitor is added to the container to suppress the formation of thrombin in the collected whole blood sample by the inhibition action of said inhibitor. Therefore, the change of the concn. of a substance liberated by the action of thrombin, for example, a thrombin antithrombin III composite or fibrinopeptide A can be suppressed. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
