PURPOSE: To provide a novel peptide useful as an angiotensinase inhibitor effective for the prevention and therapy, mainly of hypertension. n CONSTITUTION: An angiotensinase inhibitor containing, as active ingredient, the title peptide expressed by the formula: phenylalanine-cysteine-phenylalanine, can be obtained by hydrolyzing a protein, pref. albumin, esp. albumen albumin, with pepsin. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
