titleOfInvention Combined forming seat pad
abstract PURPOSE: To prevent a hammock phenomenon due to shortage of surface rigidity of a combined forming seat pad, to prevent lowering of quality due to bad finishing of a seat cover caused by inclination and sinking of a rail portion 5, to simplify a manufacturing process and to increase the bending elastic modulus. n CONSTITUTION: A fiber laminated material including a thermal adhesive low melting point fiber and a combined forming body where a glass long fiber or organic fiber reinforcing mat is disposed as an intermediate layer are heated to 145°C and cooled while being compressed to form a seat pad having a bending elastic modulus of 10kg/cm 2 or more and a supporter material for a seat cushion formed by urethane foam (3). The combined forming seat pad is integral with the base or the rail portion 5 of the seat pad. The combined forming seat pad of the present invention is kept from causing a hammock phenomenon by connection with urethane foam, and has a larger bending elastic modulus as compared with the combined forming seat pad without an intermediate layer. It is also more excellent in seating feeling. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
