abstract | PURPOSE: To produce a medical composition for treatment of erectile inadequacy of men and sexual arousal disorder of women which contains trans-5-fluoro- tetrahydro-1H-[1,4] benzodioxyno[2,3-C]pyrrole, etc., as its effective ingredients. n CONSTITUTION: (±) Trans-5-fluoro-2,3-dihydro-2,3-bis[(phenylmethoxy)methyl]-1,4- benzoxyne is produced by allowing 3-fluorobenzene-1,2-diol to react with (R, R)-1,4-bis(phenylmetoxy)-2,3-butanediol-bis(4-methylbenzenesulphonate). Then the compound of the purpose which is shown by the formula (R is H, 1-6C alkyl, etc.; R 1 , R 2 are each, H, halogen, 1-9C alkyl, etc.), (e.g. trans-5-fluoro-2,3,3 a,9a-tetrahydro-1H-[1,4]-benzodioxyno [2,3-c]pyrrole, etc.) is obtained by removing the protective group of hydroxy group, methanesulphonating, allowing to react with phenylmethaneamide and by hydrogenating the reaction product. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO |
