titleOfInvention Azlactone michael adduct
abstract PURPOSE: To provide a new azlactone functional Michael adduct effective as step-reaction monomer for adhesive, sealant and coating. n CONSTITUTION: The objective compound of formula I is obtained by allowing 2-alkenylazlactone Michael acceptor of formula II and formula III (for example, 2-vinyl-4,4-dimethyl-2-oxyazolin-5-on) to react with Michael donator of formula IV (for example, two kinds of carbon acid, enamine) at 50-150°C in the presence of the basic catalyst (for example, OBU). In formula I, P 1 , P 2 are each 1 to -1 valence of X 1 , X 2 ; R 1 , R 2 , R 7 , R 8 are each allkyl, aryl, etc.; R 3 , R 4 , R 9 , R 10 are each H, lower alkyl, R 5 , R 6 are each H, methyl; n 1 , N 2 are each 0, 1; X 1 , X 2 are each -CH 2 , -CH, -C, etc.; Z 1 , Z 2 are each C, N, S=O; Y 1 , Y 2 are each =O, =S, etc.; G is H, =O, etc.; and (q) is ≥0, =-1. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO
