titleOfInvention | Production of n-alkylsulfonyl aminosulfonyl carbamide |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain N-alkylsulfonyl aminosulfonyl carbamide useful as plant protection agent having weeding function with high yield and purity by the simple method to reproduce easily even on industrial scale. n CONSTITUTION: The compound of formula III or its salt with the base which can be approved in physiology is obtained by allowing the compound of formula I to react with the compound of formula II in the inactive organic solvent with 95% or higher yield of theoretical value and 98% or higher purity. In formula I, R 1 and R 2 are each 1-6C alkyl, 2-6C alkenyl or 2-6C alkynyl and R 2 is in addition H, 3-6C cycloalkyl or each group in R 1 can have one or more substituent (halogen, 1-4C alkoxy, 1-4C alkoxy-carbonyl); R 3 is H or 1-4C alkyl. In the formula II, R 4 is each group in R 2 ; R 5 and R 6 are each H, 1-4C alkyl or 1-4C alkoxy which can have one or more substituent (halogen, 1-4C alkylthio, 1-4C mono- or di-alkylamino); R 7 is alkyl, haloalkyl or optionally substituted phenyl. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO |
