abstract PURPOSE: To provide a production circuit tuning tool which consists of a cover, many through holes, and a probe having a gold front end and adjusts the performance of a circuit. n CONSTITUTION: A probe 40 is positioned in the cover and functions as a temporary jumper between a trace wiring on a circuit board and tuning patches, and the part of the probe which bridges the patches consists of a narrow and long non-conductive plunger which has a front end part plated with gold and is made of materials having a low dielectric constant. Once a correct combination of jumpers is determined, the tuning tool cover is removed, and permanent jumpers are soldered in proper positions, and a cover of normal production is set. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO
