PURPOSE: To find out a separating material universally applied to the chromagtography separation (HPLC, LC, TLC) of an enantiomer mixture and newly improved to give improved separating performance, and to provide a method for manufacturing the separating material. n CONSTITUTION: B-cyclodextrin is dried at 100°C for 4 hours under pressure reduction. 4.4 millimol of β-cyclodextrin is dissolved in 50ml of pyridine and allowed to react on 30.8 millimol of P-nitro-phenylchloro formic acid ester at 20°C for two hours to obtain activated β-cyclo dextrin. 10.0g of LiChrospher (commercial name) 100 NH 2 (5μm, E.Merck made) predried at 100°C for 4 hours under the pressure reduction is next added. This mixture is reacted at 20°C for 4 hours and passed through a glass frit to be filtered and next washed with pyridine, water, ethanol and petroleum ether (in this order). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO |
