abstract |
PURPOSE: To provide an agent containing a bis(3,5-dialkyl-4-hydroxyphenylthio) methane and useful for decreasing triglyceride concentration in blood plasma. n CONSTITUTION: This agent contains a compound of the formula (R 1 to R 4 are each a 1-6C alkyl), preferably bis(3,5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxyphenylthio)methane in an amount to effect the decrease of triglyceride level in blood. The agent is useful as an agent for the treatment of hypertriglyceridemia effective for decreasing the triglyceride level in blood or prevent the increase of the triglyceride level. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO |
