titleOfInvention Manufacture of window glass with gasket and vinyl chloride resin plastic gel for window glass gasket
abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of flashes or the like and the residual foams by providing an open section connected with a continued molding space, injecting plastigel from the open section, and then heat melting and manufacturing a window glass with gasket. CONSTITUTION:A glass sheet 2 is disposed in a molding tool 1, and gasket forming space 3 is formed between the peripheral edge of said glass sheet and the molding tool 1, and a gasket forming material is filled in the space 3. In that case, the gasket forming space is a continued open section 4, and plastigel is injected into the open section 4 and then heat melted to manufacture a window glass with gasket. For the plastigel, vinyl chloride resin plastigel provided with the viscosity of 500,000 to 5,000,000cps or under at the shearing speed of 1sec.<-1> and with the viscosity of 500,000cps or under at the shearing speed of 100sec.<-1> is suitable. For filling the plastigel into the molding tool 1, the method of filling by using a discharge gun while discharging the plastigel along the open section 4 of the molding tool 1 is suitable.
