titleOfInvention Preparation of titanylphthalocyanine crystal
abstract PURPOSE: To prepare the title crystal with a specific crystal structure having good electrophotographic properties i.e., a crystal structure having main peaks at Bragg angles 2θ of 9.5° and 27.2° in the X-ray diffraction spectrum using Cu Kα radiation, industrially stably with a high reproducibility. n CONSTITUTION: An amorphous titanylphthalocyanine obtd. by an acid paste treatment is treated with a solvent such as a ketone, an alcohol, an ester, or an ether without being dried in the presence of water to convert the amorphous phthalocyanine into the title crystal to thereby deposit it. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
