abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the title medium having excellent fixing properties free from nozzle clogging by blending xylidine, tolylmethanol, methylbenzyl alcohol, an alkylamide and piperonyl alcohol as essential components with a colorant. n CONSTITUTION: (A) Essential components comprising (i) 3,4-xylidine, (ii) p- tolylmethanol, (iii) p-methylbenzyl alcohol and (iv) an alkylamide shown by the formula R-CONH 2 (R is 3-4C alkyl) and/or (v) piperonyl alcohol are blended with (B) a colorant such as Solvent black to give the objective recording medium being delivered from an orifice to carry out recording and providing a high-quality recording image free from blotting by supplying heat energy. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
