abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a polyurethane urea which possesses excellent mechanical properties and thermal properties and is useful for elastomers and the like by reacting a diisocyanate with a mixture of polyol and a chain extender, such as diaminoanthraquinone. n CONSTITUTION: This polyurethane urea is prepd. by reacting a diisocyanate (A), such as bis(4-isocyanatophenyl)methane, with a mixture of a polyol (B), such as a resin polyester having a mol.wt. of 2000 to 3000, and a diaminoanthraquinone (C), such as 1,4-diaminoanthraquinone represented by the formula (wherein one of R 1 to R 3 represents NH with the other substituent representing H; X 1 to X 4 represent O, S, or CH 2 ; and R 4 to R 7 represent each H, a 1-19C alkyl, or phenyl) (used in an amt. of pref. 80 to 90% of the theoretical amt. of the isocyanate group present) or a conventional chain extender. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO |
