titleOfInvention | Improvement of octane number and increase of light reformate from catalytic reformer |
abstract | PURPOSE: To prepare an alkylated aryl compound having a high octane number and a low specific gravity by contacting a light reformate flow and a gas flow with a fixed bed acid catalyst distillation column structure. n CONSTITUTION: A light reformate flow containing benzene, toluene, and xylenes and a gas flow containing olefinic compounds containing ethylene, propene, and butenes are contacted with a solid bed acid catalyst distillation column structure (catalyst: Y type, omega type or beta type molecular sieve cation exchange resin or its phosphoric acid carrying substance) 12 in a distillation reaction zone 10 to form an alkylated aryl compound. Next, the compound is removed through a downward line 8 from a reaction zone 10, and an unreacted substance is removed from an information line 5. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO |
