titleOfInvention Azeotropic solvent composition
abstract PURPOSE: To provide a stable and non-flammable azeotropic solvent composition especially improved in the washability of rosin fluxes and in the drying ability of water-wetted articles, reduced in the decomposition of the ozone layer and not corroding metals even in the presence of water without employing CFC-113. n CONSTITUTION: An azeotropic solvent composition comprises dichloropentafluoropropane and a fluoroalcohol. An azeotropic solvent composition comprises an azeotropic mixture comprising the dichloropentafluoropropane and the fluoroalcohol. The azeotropic mixture is preferably a mixture of 1,1- dichloro-2,2,3,3,3-pentafluoropropane and pentafluoropropanol. The azeotropic mixture is preferably a mixture of 1,3-dichloro-1,2,2,3,3-pentafluoropropane and pentafluoropropanol. The azeotropic-like composition comprises preferably (A) 93.5-92.2wt.% of a mixture of 1,1-dichloro-2,2,3,3,3-pentafluoropropane and 2,3-dichloro-1,2,2,3,3-pentafluoropropane and (B) 6.5-7.8wt.% of pentafluoropropanol. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
