PURPOSE: To obtain a skin cosmetic, containing pterin and/or its derivative widely distributing in living bodies of animals, etc., as an active ingredient, having excellent beautifying and whitening effects, stable with time and readily prepared as a formulation. n CONSTITUTION: A skin cosmetic, containing pterin and/or its derivative (e.g. isoxanthoptrin or leucopterin) as an active ingredient and capable of exhibiting beautifying and whitening effects. The pterin and its derivative are blended in an amount of about 0.005-30wt.%, preferably about 0.01-10wt.% based on the whole amount of the skin cosmetic. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
