titleOfInvention | Carbon-containing plant activator |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the title porous activator by aggregatedly bonding rice hulls through a binder such as paste or sodium tripolyphosphate to a far- infrared-emissive substance such as gordonite followed by carbonizing the rice hulls with far-infrared-emissive radiation heat at high temperatures. n CONSTITUTION: Gordonite harmless to man and beast as the main stock is kneaded with rice hulls and a binder such as paste or sodium tripolyphosphate to effect solidification in an aggregated manner followed by carbonization of the rice hulls along with their sterilization with far-infrared-emissive radiation heat at high temperatures, thus giving the objective porous plant activator. The present activator, because of its adsorptivity for the residual pesticides and fertilizers in soil, will accomplish the effective use of the fertilizer and the residual pesticides' degradation due to far-infrared radiation, also actively inducing chemical reactions such as sterilization, suppression of the breeding of insect pests, crop quality improvement and plant activation, thus exerting many functions with a single substance. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
