titleOfInvention Aroma and taste improving combustion promoter for tobacco
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the subject promoter, effective in use of unripe leaf raw material of a low unit price and capable of improving aroma, taste and combustibility by adding a saccharide to a waste liquor of 'SHOCHU' (low-class distilled spirit), carrying out the Mailard reaction treatment and adding potassium fumarate to the resultant solution. n CONSTITUTION: The objective promoter is obtained by adding a saccharide to a waste liquor of 'SHOCHU', carrying out the Mailard reaction treatment and adding, e.g. 7% potassium fumarate to the resultant solution. Shredded tobacco leaves are processed and treated with 0.05-0.1% aforementioned promoter in a process for producing the tobacco. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
