titleOfInvention | Fluoropolyamide resin composition and fluoropolyimide resin composition |
abstract | PURPOSE: To make the twisting of a ferroelectric liquid crystal more difficult by forming a fluorinated benzene ring in which a fluorine atom is bonded to the sp3-carbon atom. n CONSTITUTION: A fluorodiamine (a) of formula I (wherein X 1 to X 4 are each F or H provided that the case in which these four groups are simultaneously hydrogen atoms is excluded; and n is 1-2) is reacted with 1-1.1mol, per mol of component (a), of tetracarboxylic acid (b) (e.g. pyromellitic anhydride) in an organic solvent (e.g. N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone) to obtain the title composition containing fluorinated benzene rings in which F is bonded to the sp3-carbon atom, desirably repeating units of formula II (wherein R 1 is a tetravalent group selected from among a 2C or higher aliphatic group, a cycloaliphatic group, a monocyclic aromatic group and a fused polycyclic aromatic group; and R 2 is H or a monovalent organic group). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
