abstract PURPOSE: To obtain synthetic yarn for reinforcing having improved adhesiveness to a resin to be compounded with yarn by adhering a treating agent prepared by blending a specific aliphatic polyepoxy compound with a specific amount of a polyallylamine. n CONSTITUTION: Polyester-based synthetic yarn (or aromatic polyamide-based synthetic yarn) is provided with (A) 0.3-98.6wt.% aliphatic polyepoxy compound containing two or more epoxy groups in the molecule, heat-treated and then supplied with (B) 99.7-1.4wt.% polyallylamine shown having fundamental skeleton shown by the formula to give synthetic yarn useful as a reinforcing material, having improved adhesiveness to a resin to be compounded with yarn, especially polyurethane resin or halogen-containing vinyl resin. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
