titleOfInvention | Whitening external preparation |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a whitening external preparation containing a kojic acid glycoside as an active ingredient and having excellent melanin production- suppressing action, high stability and good solubility to water. n CONSTITUTION: A kojic acid glycoside expressed by the formula (R is hexose selected from talose, sorbose, mannose, tagatose, psicose, arlose, idose, gulose, altrose and allose) used as an active ingredient is blended with each base for external preparation in an amount of 0.001-40wt.%, preferably 0.5-10wt.%. Further, as necessary various additives generally used are blended therewith and the blend is prepared to provide the objective agent. The agent can be prepared in the form of liquid medicine, lotion, ointment, cream, aerosol, cataplasm, pack agent, additive, etc. The glycoside of kojic acid is obtained by adding the above-mentioned hexose and an ion exchange resin to the kojic acid and reacting kojic acid with the above-mentioned hexose under refluxing. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
