| abstract | PURPOSE:To make a hard impregnated cured layer hard to be generated on a different hardness component by impregnating preliminarily the surface of a different hardness component adjoining a polyurethane foam raw material with the water content preliminarily. CONSTITUTION:A different hardness component 22 after being impregnated with the water content is set on the given section of a cavity face 21 of a foam molding tool 20. Projections 24, 24 for setting the different hardness component 22 are formed on the cavity face 21. At that time, an insert 23 is also set. The insert 23 is used for reinforcing and installing a head rest on a seat. A polyurethane raw material is injected into a cavity 25 and foamed therein. The polyurethane foam raw material is swollen to fill the inside of the cavity 25, and the surface of the different hardness component 22, already impregnated with the water content is imprognated with a part of said polyurethane foam raw material to form a different hardness cushion body integrated with the different hardness component 22 in the cavity 25. The different hardness cushion body is released after foaming, and heated, and the water content in the different hardness component is evaporated to manufacture a final product which is a different hardness cushion body for head rest. |
