titleOfInvention Peptide-containing polyethylene glycol derivative and its use
abstract NEW MATERIAL:A peptide-containing polyethylene glycol derivative (salt) expressed by formula I [n is integer of 1-150; R 1 is formula II ([X] and [Y] are amino acids which exist or does not exist; m is integer of 1-5)]. n USE: A cancer metastasis-suppressing agent, wound-healing agent, immunomodulating agent, platelet aggregation suppressing agent and remedy for neuropathy. n PREPARATION: For example, cyanuric chloride is reacted with a polyethylene glycol monoether to afford a compound expressed by formula III, which is then reacted with a peptide having protected side chain functional group and C end carboxyl group in the presence of a base and then the reaction product is subjected to ordinary-pressure hydrogenolysis at a room temperature in the presence of a palladium carbon to remove a protecting group and the resultant product is purified by subjecting the product to gel filtration to provide the compound expressed by formula I. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
