NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I [R 1 is O or two H atoms; R 2 , R 3 are H, group of formula II (R 4 , R 5 are lower alkyl; n is 1-5), group of formula III (R 6 is lower alkyl; R 7 , R 8 are H, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, or R 6 and R 8 form a bond together), but R 2 and R 3 are simultaneously not H]. n USE: The compound of formula I has a non-specific inhibiting activity against proteinkinase (PKC) and is useful as an anti-cancer agent, cancer-preventing agent, anti-hypertensive, macrophage-activating agent, etc. n PREPARATION: A compound of formula IV is reacted with a compound of formula V (Y is a group releasable by the reaction). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
