abstract PURPOSE: To eliminate risk of obstruction by any other member and facilitate mounting and removal by forming a current transformer dividedly, equipping each fragment with a fastening piece, forming a long hole in one of them and a notched recess in the other, and installing a bolt to each confronting pair of fastening pieces. n CONSTITUTION: A current transformer is divided into two fragments, and fastening pieces 29a, 29d and 29b, 29c are provided projectively at the joining ends of the transformer fragments 21, 22, wherein a long hole is formed in one of the fastening pieces 29a while a notched recess formed in the one 29c at the other joining end. To the mating fastening pieces 29d, 29b, bolts 30a, 30b are installed to be inserted in and detained with these long hole and recess. When these bolts 30a, 30b are detained, the transformer fragments 21, 22 become capable of relative rotating up and down round the bolts 30a, 30b. Then the transformer fragment 21 is put in relative rotation, and the recess in the fastening piece 29c facing the installed bolt is hitched and fastened.
