titleOfInvention Quartz glass fiber
abstract PURPOSE: To improve the heat resistance at a high temp. by coating the above glass fiber with a surface treating agent contg. an Al compd. n CONSTITUTION: The glass fiber is coated with the surface treating agent contg. the Al compd. Aluminum nitrate (Al(NO 3 ) 3 .9H 2 O) aluminum chloride (AlCl 3 .6H 2 O), aluminum acetate (Al(CH 3 CO 2 ) 3 ), basic aluminum acetate (Al(OH)(CH 3 CO 2 ) 2 ), aluminum lactate (Al(CH 3 CHOHCHCO 2 ) 3 ), aluminum sulfate (Al 2 (SO 4 ) 3 .18H 2 O), aluminum oxalate (Al 2 C 2 O 4 ) 3 .H 2 O), triisopropoxy aluminum (Al(OCHC 2 H 6 ) 3 ), tribotoxy aluminum (Al(OC 4 H 7 ) 3 ), alumina sol, etc., are used as the starting materials of the Al compd. The heat resistance at the high temp. is improved in this way. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
