abstract PURPOSE: To lower specific resistivity, to improve stability and to obtain thereby a liq. crystal display element with less interference caused by static electricity by incorporating a linear polyether in a liq. crystal compd. n CONSTITUTION: A liq. crystal compd. (A) wherein a phenylcyclohexane compd. is pref. a main ingredient is mixed with 0.1-10.0wt.% linear polyether (B) of the formula (wherein R 1-2 are each an alkyl; (n) is 1-5) (e.g triethylene glycol dimethyl ether) based on the ingredient A and, if necessary, a dichroic coloring matter, etc., to obtain a liq. crystal compsn.
