abstract PURPOSE: To prepare a resin compsn. giving a sheet or molding excellent in transparency and slipperiness or stacking properties by compounding a polyethylene terephthalate resin with a talc having a specified particle diameter. n CONSTITUTION: A polyethylene terephthalate resin is compound with a talc having a mean particle diameter of 10μm or lower to give the title compsn., which can be formed into a sheet or molding. The slipperiness of the sheet and stacking properties of the molding depend upon their surface preperties, and in order to increase the effect of compounding the talc, the sheet or molding pref. has a multilayered structure wherein the talc is contained in the skin layer in an amt. higher than in the core layer. A talc contg. primary particles having a mean diameter higher than 10μm is not pref. because the compsn. gives a sheet or molding with decreased transparency. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
