abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the title elastic yarn having excellent durability free from deterioration of elastic performances resulting from dry heat treatment, wet heat treatment, etc., by copolymerizing a naphthalenedicarboxylic acid with a glycol component and specifying content of titanium atom, intrinsic viscosity, etc. n CONSTITUTION: (A) 2,6-Naphthalenedicarboxylic acid is copolymerized with (B) 1,4-butanediol and (C) 60-75wt.% poly(alkylene oxide) glycol having 1,500-3,000 number-average molecular weight in the presence of (D) titanium benzoate as a catalyst to give the objective elastic yarn having 60-180ppm content of titanium atom in the polymer, 1.2-1.7 intrinsic viscosity and 2.0-8.0 seconds time of 1/2 crystallization. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
