titleOfInvention Two-pack foaming polyurethane elastomer composition for sole
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title composition which can give a sole improved in mechanical strength, water resistance and flex resistance by mixing an isocyanate component comprising an organic polyisocyanate with a polyol component containing a specified polyol. n CONSTITUTION: Polyoxytetramethylene glycol (i) of a molecular weight of 400-10,000, desirably 800-3,000, prepared by, for example polymerization of tetrahydrofuran through ring opening is addition-polymerized with 5-50wt.%, desirably 10-40wt.% lactone to obtain a polyol. The polyol is mixed with optionally a chain extender, a catalyst, a blowing agent, a foam stabilizer, a stabilizer, a pigment, etc., to obtain a polyol component. This component is mixed with an isocyanate component comprising an organic polyisocyanate and/or another organic polyisocyanate comprising a prepolymer prepared from the above polyisocyanate and a polyol to obtain the title composition. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
