titleOfInvention Insecticide composition
abstract PURPOSE: To provide an insecticide composition having a good residual activity and exhibiting a high insecticidal potency against insect pests by simultaneously employing an insecticidal crystal protein produced by Bacillus thuringiensis and dimethyl-2,2-dichlorobiphenyl phosphate. n CONSTITUTION: An insecticide composition synergistically exhibiting a high insecticidal potency against insect pests contains a highly safe insecticidal crystal protein (Bt crystal protein) produced by Bacillus thuringiensis and dimethyl-2,2- dichlorovinyl phosphate (dichlorvos) preferably in a weight ratio of 0.1-0.5:1. The composition permits to improve the insecticidal ability of the Bt crystal protein and apply to a wide range of insect pests and has good activity against insect pests having resistance against organic phosphorus insecticides. The composition further exhibits an excellent activity to inhibit the generation of resistance against the insect pests. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
