titleOfInvention Polyphenylene oxide-based resin composition
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition capable of providing laminated boards remarkably improved in bleeding properties, adhesion to metallic foils and moldability by blending triallyl isocyanurates (prepolymer) with a crosslinking polymer, toluene, etc. n CONSTITUTION: A resin composition is obtained by blending a polyphenylene oxide with triallyl isocyanurates, prepolymer thereof, a crosslinking polymer and toluene and trichloroethylene as solvents. The toluene is blended as a reaction solvent in polymerizing the triallyl isocyanurates into the prepolymer and the trichloroethylene is blended as a diluting solvent. Furthermore, a flame retardant is blended. The polyphenylene oxide preferably has about 50000 weight-average molecular weight (Mw) and 4.2 molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
