titleOfInvention Method for sintering calcia particles preventing carburization at the time of sintering
abstract PURPOSE: To prevent carburization at the time of sintering by laying an earthenware-made sleeve, which applys zircon series water base coating agent on the inner face, on a brick-made bottom plate applying the same coating agent and executing the specific sintering treatment after packing calcia particles sticking CaCl 2 .2H 2 O on the surface. n CONSTITUTION: By executing the sintering treatment of about 950°CX2hr after packing the calcia particles 1 sticking CaCl 2 .2H 2 O on the surface into the earthenware-made sleeve 5, the carburization at the time of sintering, is prevented. As the calcia particles can be sintered without coexistence of graphite, the carburization to the calcia particle sintered body is not developed. By applying the zircon series water base coating agent, releasing property of the calcia particle sintered body from a mold for sintering becomes good. The earthenware-made sleeve is weak to tensile stress, but by firmly binding with metal wire of Kanthal, etc., breakage caused by expansion of the calcia at the time of sintering can be prevented. By this method, as the carburization to permeable stainless steel is not executed, the permeable stainless steel having good corrosion resistance and oxidizing resistance can be manufactured. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
