abstract | PURPOSE: To readily obtain the title composition by blending a mixture of a specific zinc crosslinked acrylic resin emulsion, a carboxyl group-containing polyurethane-based resin emulsion and a wax emulsion with an aldehyde. n CONSTITUTION: (A) A carboxyl group-containing acrylic resin emulsion having 40-100 acid value is blended with (B) 0.5-1.0 chemical equivalent, based on the carboxyl group, of the acrylic resin emulsion of a zinc crosslinking agent and further heated to ≥ the glass transition point of the component A and subjected to crosslinking reaction to give the zinc crosslinked acrylic resin emulsion. Then the acrylic resin emulsion is mixed with (C) a carboxyl group-containing polyurethane-based resin emulsion, (D) a wax emulsion and further (E) an aqueous solution of an aldehyde to give the objective composition having excellent water resistance, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
