titleOfInvention Image forming device
abstract PURPOSE: To constitute an image formation unit with low cost, less heat dissipation, low speed counter and to obtain secure timing signals by providing the image formation unit with a main scanning synchronous control means that generates a timing signal for writing an image in the main scanning direction by counting a frequency dividing clock taking a synchronizing signal as a reference. n CONSTITUTION: Main scanning synchronous control circuit 5 inputs a dividing clock DCLK and a synchronizing signal DETP, starts counting the dividing clock DCLK when inputting the synchronizing signal DETP, and outputs a signal LSYNC indicating the start of writing main scanning and a timing signal LGATE that is set at 'H' during a period of writing 1 line of data to set the image formation unit at write enable. Further, a subscanning synchronous control circuit 6 resets signal FGATE at 'L'. In this case, if a frequency divider 4 or divider 8 is constituted using high speed elements, by using the dividing clock DCLK that is divided by these elements and the transfer clock PCLK are used as clock, many multistage PR counters constituting the main scanning synchronous control circuit 5 can all be from relatively slow speed counters, and further the clock can be securely counted. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
