titleOfInvention Polyester resin composition having excellent resistance to hydrolysis
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a polyester composition useful as a film, etc., used under a hot and wet conditions, having excellent resistance to hydrolysis containing an unreacted carbodiimide and a fluorine-based polymer exhibiting the terminal carboxyl group concentration lower than a specific value. n CONSTITUTION: A polyester containing ≥15equiv./10 6 g terminal carboxyl group concentration is made to react with a carbodiimide compound (preferably N,N'- di-2,6-diisopropylphenyl carbodiimide) in a molten state to prepare a polyester resin composition containing 0.005-1.5wt.%, preferably 0.01-1.2wt.% unreacted carbodiimide compound having ≤15equiv./10 6 g terminal carboxyl group concentration, and to make coexistent 0.01-30wt.% fluorine-based polymer, preferably tetrafluoroethylene ethylene copolymer in the composition. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
