titleOfInvention Cold permanent wave treatment and hair-dyeing method
abstract PURPOSE: To prevent the damage of scalp and hair by saponifying animal or vegetable oil and fat with a caustic potash using an ion-containing water free from chlorine and iron, etc., and shampooing the hair with the obtained soap. n CONSTITUTION: Tap water is treated with a water-filtration cleaner to remove chlorine and iron, etc., from the water. The treated water is subjected to ionizing and electric osmotic actions with an electrolytic ionizer to form an acidic ion water of pH 6.9-3.0 at the anode side and an alkaline ion water of pH 7.1-12.0 at the cathode side. The obtained ion-containing water is showered for shampooing the hair at 37-40°C and a water-pressure of ≤2kg/cm 2 in the form of water or mist or by heating with a water-boiler. In combination with the above shower, a soap produced by saponifying animal or vegetable oil and fat with a caustic potash is applied to hair, thoroughly foamed and rinsed with water. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
