abstract | PURPOSE: To improve the air drying property and strength by incorporating an inorg. aggregate and a specified resin composition. n CONSTITUTION: α,β-unsaturated dibasic acid (5-60wt.% of an unsaturated polyester obtained by subjecting an anhydride, a polyhydric alcohol and a polybasic acid, as required, to a dicyclopentadiene derivative shown by the formula (R 1 is an alkylene glycol residue and at least two 4-12C alkylene chains bonded by at least one 0, the alkylene chain is a ≤2C oxalkylene glycol residue, and R 2 is H or methyl) are mixed to obtain a resin composition (B). Subsequently, 60-95wt.% of (A) an inorg. aggregate (e.g. sand), 40-5wt.% of the (component B and, if necessary, (C) 0.01-10wt.% of an org. peroxide (e.g. benzoyl peroxide) based on the component B, (D) 0.01-10wt.% of an aromatic amine-based accelerator (e.g. aniline) based on the component B and/or 0.01-5wt.% of a polyvalent metal salt (e.g. calcium naphthenate) and/or a complex (e.g. cobalt acetyl acetonate) are mixed. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
